Sandra Gomes

Sandra Gomes is a Lecturer at IPAM since 1996, serving as Professor Coordenator at IPAM Porto and Invited Professor at ISLA. She holds a Sociology degree from the University of Porto, a Master's in Organizational Sociology from ISCTE Lisbon, and a PhD in Business Sciences from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos Madrid. Her research focuses on social marketing, sustainability, consumer behavior, and socially responsible practices.

She has coordinated four major research projects, including MEDDiet4Campus (2023-2026) funded by FCT and projects on sustainable consumption and food labeling. Notable publications include studies on brand relationships, sustainable packaging, and volunteer brand equity in nonprofits. She served as a Panel Expert for the Portuguese Ministry of Health’s Health Literacy Library since 2017.

Her work bridges academia and applied research, emphasizing policy implications for sustainability and social responsibility. She has collaborated internationally with institutions like the University of Zagreb and Hacettepe University.
