Sandra Fachelli

Sandra Fachelli is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at Pablo de Olavide University. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2009) and a postdoctoral degree in Social Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires. Her academic career includes leadership roles in international sociological organizations: Vice President of ISA RC55 'Social Indicators', Board Member of ISA RC28 'Social Stratification', and President of the Spanish Federation of Sociology's CI 41 'Comparative Sociology between Europe and Latin America'. She previously chaired FES's CI 06 'Inequality and Social Stratification' (2020-2024).
