Dr. Sakis Kyratzis is a Lecturer in Graphic Design Communication at Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London, where he currently serves as Year 1 Leader for the BA Graphic Design Communication program. With a multidisciplinary academic background, he holds a BA in both Linguistic and Visual Communication, an MA in Linguistics, and a PhD in Linguistics. His academic roles have included Senior Lecturer at Kingston University (BA English Language and Linguistics) and Associate Lecturer at Central Saint Martins (BA/MA Graphic Communication Design). He has also coordinated History and Theory modules for the BA Interior and Spatial Design program at Chelsea College of Arts.
His research focuses on integrating theory and practice across critical design, language studies, spatial design, and psychogeography. Parallel to academia, he worked as Visual Communications Manager at architecture firm Simpson Haugh and operates as a freelance designer in the cultural sector, collaborating with artists, theatre professionals, and institutions.
