Robert Seebacher

Robert Seebacher is the National Endowment for the Humanities Associate Professor of Music at Centre College, where he joined in 2017. He directs instrumental programs, teaches applied horn, and conducts the Centre Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Music Ensembles. Additionally, he serves as Music Director and Conductor of the Johnson City Symphony Orchestra and Assistant Conductor of the National Chorale.

Dr. Seebacher specializes in orchestral conducting, music education, and applied horn instruction. His career spans roles at institutions like the University of South Alabama and collaborations with renowned artists such as Midori and Canadian Brass. He has conducted All-State orchestras across Kentucky, West Virginia, and Alabama.
