Robert Griffiths is a Lecturer in Mental Health at the University of Manchester and holds an honorary position as Director of the Mental Health Nursing Research Unit at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. He completed his PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manchester (2019), an MSc (2007), and a BSc in Nursing from Coventry University (1998).
His research focuses on improving outcomes for individuals with first-episode psychosis, developing the Method of Levels therapy, applying Perceptual Control Theory to clinical practice, and reducing restrictive practices in pediatric mental health settings.
