Robert Bowse

Robert Bowse is a Senior Lecturer II and Director of the Business Communication Program at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. He holds an MFA from University of Massachusetts Amherst (2008) and a BA from Yale University (1991). His teaching focuses on communication strategy, crisis management, career exploration, and visual rhetoric.

Before academia, Bowse worked in consulting roles at Fidelity Investments, Mercer Consulting, Watson Wyatt Worldwide, and Towers Perrin between 1995-2004. He has received multiple awards including the Outstanding Teaching Award (2013) and IABC Gold Quill Award (2002). His research explores innovative business communication methods, particularly in large-scale educational settings.
