Elizabeth Porto

Elizabeth Porto is a Senior Lecturer II in the Business Communication Program at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has held this position since September 2003. Previously, she served as a Lecturer in the Commonwealth Honors College (2002–2008) and the Consumer Studies Department (1998–2002).

Her research focuses on Strategic Storytelling in Business, Intercultural Communication, Visual Rhetoric, Leadership Rhetoric, Historical Geography, and Entomology. Teaching interests include Communication Strategy, Finance Communication, Visual Rhetoric, and Business Ethics. She co-authored Inside Business Writing (Kendall Hunt, 2006) and contributed to journals like Western Humanities Review and Massachusetts Review.
