Jake Zucker

Jake Zucker is a Lecturer in the Business Communication Program at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. He holds a BA in English and History from the University of Rochester (2008) and an MFA in English from Purdue University (2016). Prior to joining UMass Amherst in 2019, he served as a Lecturer at Purdue University from 2016 to 2019.

Research Focus: His scholarship centers on Business Writing and Inclusivity & Accommodation. Teaching expertise spans Rhetoric/Style, Information Literacy, Business Ethics/Social Justice, and Document Design.

Professional Background: Before academia, Zucker worked as a journalist for ESPN the Magazine and Fast Company, with fiction publications in Story, StoryQuarterly, West Branch, Sonora Review, and Iron Horse Literary Review, plus book reviews in Electric Literature.
