Rob T. Guerette

Rob T. Guerette is Professor in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida International University's Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs. His research examines situational crime prevention, policing innovation, and transnational crime patterns.

Significant contributions include methodological advances in program evaluation, particularly regarding real-time crime centers and police information technologies. Current projects assess technology impacts on crime outcomes, investigative effectiveness, and community perceptions.

Professional service includes advisory roles with the Center for Problem-Oriented Policing and coordination of the International Herman Goldstein Awards. Extensive consultation experience with U.S. Department of Justice, British Home Office, and municipal police agencies.
