Rima Idzelis

Rima Idzelis is a Senior Lecturer at Duke University School of Law, serving as Director of the Legal Writing Program for LLM students. She teaches courses in U.S. Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing, Advanced Legal Writing for International Students, and Environmental Law Readings Workshop. Previously, she taught Legal Writing, Research, and Oral Advocacy at the University of Maryland School.

• Professional Experience: Former Staff Attorney at U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Administrative Law Judges; Associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius (Nuclear Energy section); Consultant at World Resources Institute; Regulatory Counsel at Stateside Associates

Her research focuses on legal writing pedagogy, international legal education, and environmental/natural resource law. She has contributed to regulatory policy analysis and legal clinic development in Karelia, Russia.

Professional Affiliations: Member of the District of Columbia Bar and the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
