Richard Tillman

Richard Tillman is an Associate Professor - Educator at the University of Cincinnati, specializing in cognitive science and psychology. He earned his Ph.D. in Cognition and Communication from Tilburg University, complemented by an Interdisciplinary Cognitive Science Certificate from the University of Memphis, an M.A. in Experimental Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University, and a B.A. in Psychology from UNC Greensboro.

His research examines psycholinguistics, honor cultures, and embodied cognition, with emphasis on improving human communication and educational methodologies. Current projects investigate cross-cultural variations in language processing and the relationship between self-esteem and cultural frameworks.
