Gallagher's research integrates phenomenological traditions with contemporary cognitive science, examining how embodied experiences shape cognition and intersubjective understanding. His recent work explores the neurophilosophical basis of self-patterns in health and disorders.
Recent publications demonstrate a consistent focus on phenomenological approaches to cognitive science, with emerging themes in psychopathology, embodied therapy interventions, and cross-species cognition. Articles frequently employ interdisciplinary methodologies combining philosophical analysis with empirical psychology.
