Richard Lemke, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Chair of Social Sciences at Lakeland University since 2012. He holds a Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati and a Master's in Forensic Psychology from Castleton State College. His research focuses on risk assessment, correctional program effectiveness, and criminological explanations of crime. Lemke received Lakeland's prestigious Underkofler Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award in 2015.
Publications include works in "Federal Probation", "Offender Programs Reports", "Criminal Justice and Behavior", and "Journal of Criminal Justice Education". He previously served as an Assistant Professor at the University of West Georgia.
