Dr. Michelle Bolger, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the College of Sciences at DeSales University, where she also serves as Director of the Master of Arts in Criminal Justice (MCJ) Program. Her academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati (2015) and M.S./B.S. degrees from Xavier University.

Dr. Bolger’s research focuses on quantitative analyses of criminological perspectives, behavioral outcome prediction, and community corrections. She extends her expertise to community-based studies on citizen fear of crime, police satisfaction, pretrial/probation programs, and gun-carrying perceptions.
As an educator, she teaches criminology, research methods, statistics, and corrections at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She actively mentors students through the Criminal Justice Association and represents DeSales on the Executive Board of the Lehigh Valley Research Consortium.
