Renée Green

Renée Green is a Professor at the MIT Program in Art, Culture and Technology. She received the Finkenwerder Art Prize 2022, a prestigious award from HFBK Hamburg, and her solo exhibition marked the relaunch of the HFBK Galerie's program.

Her artistic practice focuses on cultural differences, migration narratives, feminism, and the intersections of art with music, film, and architecture. Her works have been exhibited at institutions like the Whitney Biennale (New York), KW Institute for Contemporary Art (Berlin), and Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris).

Renée Green's career spans decades of international professorships and contributions to art practice. She was celebrated in the 2022 HFBK Hamburg exhibition alongside Frieda Toranzo Jaeger, though her primary affiliation remains with MIT.
