Rachel Elliott Rigolino is a Lecturer in the Department of English at SUNY New Paltz and Coordinator of the Supplemental Writing Workshop (SWW) Program. She began teaching part-time in 1993 and transitioned to full-time in 1999.
She holds a Master of Arts from SUNY New Paltz and specializes in teaching Composition I, Writing and Rhetoric, and literature courses including Short Story and The Novel.
Her research focuses on developmental writing, online pedagogy, andragogy (adult education), and mentorship. As a SUNY Online Ambassador, she has designed multiple online Master's courses and holds a Certificate of Instructional Course Design from the SLOAN Consortium. She actively serves on campus educational technology committees.
