Quinlan Orear is Professor and Associate Chair of Film and Television at SCAD. An award-winning filmmaker, his creative work spans narrative shorts, branded content for Meta/Chase/Airbnb, and feature post-production supervision (Bleed for This, Flesh and Bone). Industry roles include creative direction at Magnet Media and DI production at Sixteen19.
Education: MFA in Film from Columbia University; BFA in Theatre from University of Illinois.
Directed/produced films include Seeking: Jack Tripper (2016 festival award-winner) and Grunge. Awards include Newport Beach Film Festival honors and Iron Mule Comedy Prize. Teaches advanced production and storytelling techniques.
