Ursula Burton

Ursula Burton is a Senior Lecturer in the BFA Animation department at Otis College of Art and Design. She is also a graduate of Yale University and works as a writer/director, actor, and founder of FIVE SISTERS PRODUCTIONS.

Her research and professional work spans animation, film production, screenwriting, media studies, advertising, and documentary filmmaking. She has produced features such as LETTING GO OF GOD and directed commercials, PSAs, and shorts including the Emmy Qualifying OLD GUY series and THE HAPPIEST DAY OF HIS LIFE, which won the MTV/Logo Viewer's Choice Award.

Notable awards include the Empire State Film Award, multiple festival qualifications (Academy Awards, Emmys), and recognition at international film festivals like Newport Beach and Lunenburg. She has also been elected to the Dramatists Guild and participated in mentorship programs through the Alliance of Women Directors.
