Philippe Tondre holds the International Chair in Oboe at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). He serves as Principal Oboe with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, SWR Symphony Orchestra, and Saito Kinen Orchestra Matsumoto. Additionally, he is a member of the Mito Chamber Orchestra and the Kammer Ensemble Paris. Previously, he was Solo Oboe with the Budapest Festival Orchestra (2014–2020) and the Gewandhaus Orchestra in Leipzig (2016–2017).
