Peter Spaar

Peter Spaar is a Senior Lecturer in Double Bass at the University of Virginia. He holds the Robert and Ruth Cross Principal Bass Chair in the Charlottesville Symphony at UVA and is the founder/bassist of the Free Bridge Quintet (UVA's jazz quintet-in-residence). He also performs with the Richmond Symphony Orchestra and maintains an active freelance career in jazz and classical bass.
