Peter Greer

Peter Greer is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Business at Messiah College, where he teaches ECON 501 Global Business and Economic Development. He serves as President and CEO of HOPE International, a global Christ-centered nonprofit focused on poverty alleviation through microfinance, discipleship, and financial training. Greer is also the Entrepreneur in Residence at Messiah College.

Research and Expertise: Greer's work centers on leveraging business and economic development to combat extreme poverty, with a focus on integrating faith into missions and global development. His advocacy for the Church's role in poverty alleviation has led to speaking engagements at conferences like Catalyst, Passion, and Jubilee, and he has been featured in Christianity Today, World, Forbes, and CNN.
