Panagiotopoulos Dimitris

Panagiotopoulos Dimitris is a Lecturer at the Agricultural University of Athens under the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development. He holds a PhD from the Department of History at the Ionian University and a BSc in History from the Department of History and Archeology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Athens.

• Teaches "Greek State and Society in the 19th and 20th Century" at Ionian University's Postgraduate Program

Research Interests include the history of Greek agriculture, political/economic/social organization of modern Greece, rural areas in the 19th-20th centuries, and the formation of higher education and academic elites. His work bridges historical analysis with agrarian development and socio-political structures.
