Orla Dunne

Dr. Orla Dunne is a Research Fellow at the Wellcome Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine within Queen's University Belfast's School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences. Her research focuses on neurosensory mechanisms in respiratory and dental contexts.

Her investigations explore calcium signaling, airway epithelial responses, neuronal progenitor characterization, and TRP channel modulation. Research spans molecular biology, cellular physiology, and clinical applications in asthma and dental neuroscience.
