Oliver Kent

Univ.-Prof. Oliver Kent is a renowned jazz pianist and Professor at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (Konservatorium Wien). Since 2002, he has been actively teaching jazz performance and has held a visiting professorship at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (2007/2008). His career spans over three decades as a professional musician, blending artistic excellence with academic leadership.

• Two-time winner of the Austrian Hans Koller Jazz Prize (2002, 2004)
• Recipient of the New German Jazz Prize (2006)

**Current Projects**: Leads or collaborates in ensembles such as Kent Langthaler 7, Gansch and Roses, and the Jazz Big Band Graz. He also mentors initiatives like Marianne Mendt Young Talents and the Flip Philipp–Ed Partyka Dectet.
