Nurit Nobel is a Research Fellow at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), affiliated with the Center for Sustainability Research, Center for Retailing, and Sustainable Finance Lab. She maintains additional affiliations with Harvard University's Sustainability Transparency Accountability Research (STAR) Lab, where she completed her postdoctoral research (2023-2025). She holds a PhD in Marketing from SSE and an MSc in Social Psychology from the London School of Economics.
Her research examines behavioral interventions to promote consumer sustainability decisions, spanning both environmental and financial dimensions. She employs empirical methodologies in laboratory and field settings to investigate how nudges can drive sustainable choices.
Beyond academia, she co-founded Impactually—a behavioral science consultancy serving clients including the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, Swedish Public Employment Service, City of Stockholm, Ericsson, and The Absolut Company. Her prior corporate experience includes 10+ years in marketing and branding roles at Procter & Gamble and Lynxeye across global markets.
