Christina Gravert

Christina Gravert is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Copenhagen, and a member of the Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality (CEBI). She serves as director of the Laboratory for Experimental Economics (LEE) and sits on the Research Ethics Committee at her department.

• PhD in Economics from Aarhus University (2014)
• Specializes in behavioral economics with focus on environmental decision-making and policy design

Her primary research areas include behavioral economics, experimental economics, nudging, and green transition. Current research themes:

• Consumer behavior in private electricity markets
• Incentives for public transport usage
• Nudging to reduce food waste in retail

Her publications demonstrate expertise in field experiments and policy evaluation, with recent work analyzing carbon tax effectiveness, time preferences in medical adherence, and peer effects in perseverance. Key award: Talent 100 (2019).

She co-founded Impactually, a behavioral science consultancy, and actively advises policymakers on sustainable transitions. Her lab experiments combine behavioral insights with environmental economics to address real-world policy challenges.
