Henrik Nilsson is the Jan Wallander Professor of Accounting and Financial Management at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), where he teaches auditing, financial accounting, and financial statement analysis. He holds a PhD in accounting from Umeå University (Sweden). His research focuses on behavioral aspects of accounting choices, auditing processes, corporate governance, corporate social responsibility, and insider trading. He has been affiliated with the Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets and served as an associate editor of the European Accounting Review (2017–2022).
His research has been published in top-tier journals such as the Journal of Accounting and Economics, Review of Accounting Studies, and Journal of Financial Economics.
