Nora Sternfeld is a Professor of Art Education at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts (HFBK Hamburg), where she also co-directs the /ecm Master Course for Exhibition Theory and Practice. She holds a distinguished career with previous roles as documenta professor at Kunsthochschule Kassel (2018–2020) and Professor of Curating and Mediating Art at Aalto University Helsinki (2012–2018). Her work bridges art, education, and activism, focusing on anti-racism, decolonial critique, and radical pedagogy.
She co-founded trafo.K, an office for education and critical knowledge production, and is part of freethought, a research platform.
