Nicolas Rialland

Nicolas Rialland is an Associate Professor (Maître de conférences) at the University of Rouen Normandy, affiliated with the UFR Lettres et Sciences Humaines. He is a member of the ERIAC research unit (UR 4705), specializing in aesthetics, philosophy of art, and German Enlightenment studies. His research focuses on 18th-century German philosophy, particularly Lessing’s aesthetic theories, and their engagement with French and Anglo-Saxon thought.

Rialland holds a doctoral degree in philosophy and is an agrégé.
