Neil Denari

Neil Denari is a tenured Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Arts and Architecture, Department of Architecture and Urban Design. He has taught at prestigious institutions including Columbia University, UC Berkeley, Princeton University, and Harvard GSD.

Denari’s research explores the intersection of architecture with technology, urban morphology, and fashion design, informed by his international practice and teaching in Japan. His work addresses architectural speculation and the experience economy in design.

He has received significant scientific awards, including the Richard Recchia Award, Samuel F.B. Morse Medal, Los Angeles AIA Gold Medal, and a United States Artists Fellowship. His projects have been acquired by seven major museums, including MoMA and SFMOMA.
