Nathan Smith

Nathan Smith is a Lecturer in the Department of History and Philosophy at the University of West Florida's College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities. His research examines labor unionization in the post-war American South, with a focus on Disney Parks' labor conditions (1955-2005) and the service economy of the Sunbelt region. His work challenges conventional narratives about southern unionization limitations and explores socioeconomic impacts of deindustrialization.
