Michael T. Smith

Dr. Michael T. Smith serves as Professor and Head of the Department of History within the College of Liberal Arts at McNeese State University. He earned his PhD in American History from Pennsylvania State University in 2005 and maintains an active teaching portfolio focused on pivotal eras of United States history.

His academic specialization spans foundational American historical periods with emphasis on military conflicts and regional development:
