Nathan Heavers

Nathan Heavers serves as Associate Professor and Director of Graduate Studies in the Department of Landscape Architecture and Horticulture at Temple University's Tyler School of Art and Architecture, where he integrates ecological design, horticulture, and visual arts in his academic practice.

His educational credentials include:

• Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) from the University of Pennsylvania (2009)
• AB in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology with Certificate in Visual Arts from Princeton University (2000)

Heavers' research centers on adaptive forest management strategies addressing climate change impacts, particularly examining tensions between cultural landscape preservation and forest ecosystem dynamics.
