Naomi Shersty

Naomi Shersty is an Associate Professor at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD), where she has taught fine arts courses since 2009. She holds a BFA from the University of Florida and an MFA from the University of New Mexico. Her work spans multimedia art, including photography, drawings, zines, videos, installations, and a weekly radio show Broadcast! on WXRW 104.1FM / riverwestradio.com. Her art has been exhibited nationally and internationally at venues such as the New Mexico Museum of Art, Newspace Center for Photography, and Move Gallery. Her photographic works have been featured in publications like Frontiers: Journal of Women Studies, Reframing Photography: Theory and Practice, and Learning to Love You More.
