Shari Diamond is a queer American feminist photographic artist and educator currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design. They hold an M.A. in Photography from New York University / International Center of Photography (ICP) and have been active in academia since 1991.

Diamond’s research and artistic practice explores themes of queer identity, feminist self-portraiture, Jewish-Muslim relations, and AIDS activism. They pioneered the 60 Year Project and Wound Dressings series, examining body politics and personal narrative. Their work has been exhibited internationally, including in Mexico, Israel, and Japan, and is part of the Leslie Lohman Museum collection.
Recent projects include the Quarantine Zine (2020) and collaborations with Bread and Roses for community photography workshops. Their art has been featured in 15+ solo/group exhibitions since 2004, including the New York Times-reviewed Body Virtual (2004).
