Nancy Brasel

Nancy Brasel, M.Ed., is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Central Florida’s School of Teacher Education within the College of Community Innovation and Education. She specializes in Early Childhood Development and Education, with a focus on early literacy, children’s literature, and classroom management. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes fostering student potential through inclusive learning environments.

Ms. Brasel has taught since 1988 across elementary schools, community colleges, and universities. She holds a master’s degree from UCF and has earned four exemplary teaching awards during her tenure. Beyond teaching, she actively contributes to curriculum development, academic committees, and workshops on effective teaching practices. She has also presented research at academic conferences and supported Kappa Delta Pi, an educational honor society.
