Dr. Betty Coneway is a Professor and Department Head in the Department of Education at West Texas A&M University's Terry B. Rogers College of Education and Social Sciences. She serves as Program Chair for Leadership in Curriculum & Instruction with emphasis areas in Literacy Education and Early Childhood Education, while also holding a Reading Specialist Certification. Her academic career spans roles in teaching, committee leadership (including co-chairing the Dia de los Muertos Committee and co-sponsoring Kappa Delta Pi), and research focused on early childhood literacy interventions.
