Nadia Hunt

Nadia Hunt is an Associate Lecturer in the primary education team at Edith Cowan University's School of Education. With 15+ years of teaching experience across primary and early childhood settings, she transitioned into academia, teaching pedagogy and learning-area units for 8 years. Her expertise spans curriculum design and educational practice.

• Qualifications: Master of Education (2022), Graduate Certificate in Education (2014), Bachelor of Education (2008) – all from The University of Notre Dame Australia.

Her research focuses on vocabulary development in early years and inquiry/play-based learning approaches, emphasizing holistic educational strategies. Nadia was recognized with the 2018 Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence.

Teaching responsibilities include the unit HSS6215.1 (Teaching Humanities and Social Sciences in Primary) and EDL1250 (Learners and Learning).
