Nader Tavassoli is a Professor of Marketing at London Business School (LBS), where he has served since 2002. Previously, he held positions at MIT Sloan School of Management, including Associate Professor of Marketing and Richard Leghorn Professor of Entrepreneurship. He is the Faculty Advisor for LBS Publishing and founder of the Behavioural Research Lab and the Walpole Luxury Management Programme. A recipient of LBS' Excellence in Teaching Award, his research focuses on branding, consumer cognition, and marketing strategy.
His academic journey includes a BA and MBA from Syracuse University and an MPhil/PhD from Columbia Business School.
