Bogdan Murgescu is a Professor of Economic History and Vice-Rector for Budget and Human Resources at the University of Bucharest. He has held significant administrative roles including Director of the Council for Doctoral Studies (2013-2020) and Advisor for Higher Education to the Minister of National Education and Scientific Research (2015-2016). Currently, he chairs the National Council for Higher Education Statistics and Forecast (CNSPIS) and participates in academic bodies like the European University Institute's Research Council.
