Molly Susan Mathias

Molly Susan Mathias is the User Experiences Librarian and User Experiences Team Lead at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) Libraries, with an academic role as an Adjunct Instructor at the School of Information Studies. She serves as a subject liaison to the Communications Department, Journalism and Media Studies, the English Department, and the School of Information Studies. Her career spans nearly two decades in academic librarianship and teaching.

Her research focuses on information literacy, library service philosophy, user experiences (UX), digital divide ethics in the United States, and the literary canon. As part of the User Services Division, she manages the Research Help Desk Internship, emphasizing student engagement, community outreach, and learning spaces. Her work bridges academic instruction and library innovation.
