Jan Donahou is an Adjunct Professor and Instructor at the School of Information Studies (SOIS) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM). She holds a BA in English from Arkansas Tech University and an MLIS with School Library Media Certification from UWM. Prior to her current role, she served as a school librarian in Wisconsin for 14 years and later became the academic librarian at UWM at Washington County (2019–present). Her research focuses on diversity in children’s publishing and integrating graphic novels into educational settings.
