Dr Miles Thompson is an Associate Professor in Psychology at the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol), affiliated with the Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences (HAS). He leads the Psychological Sciences Research Group (PSRG) and holds HCPC registration as a clinical psychologist. His career includes NHS clinical work at the Bath Centre for Pain Services (2005–2011), a PhD from Goldsmiths (University of London), and prior academic roles at Canterbury Christ Church University, where he became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
