Mildred L. Johnson

Mildred L. Johnson is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at Geneva College. With over 14 years as a patrol officer and police sergeant in Pittsburgh, she also served as a police chaplain and director of the Police Academy at Westmoreland County Community College. Recently, she became a National Trainer with Georgetown University's Active Bystandership for Law Enforcement Program (ABLE).

Her work bridges criminal justice systems with social service agencies, promoting collaboration to address issues like bias crimes, gang violence, and drug abuse.

Recent Publications: In 2022, she co-developed a workshop titled Promoting Effective Partnerships Between Social Service and Criminal Justice Agencies, highlighting interdisciplinary approaches to public safety.
