Dr. Michalis Poupazis is a Lecturer in Ethnomusicology and Programme Director for the MA in Ethnomusicology at University College Cork. His research focuses on ethnomusicology, popular music studies, and Mediterranean diaspora cultures, particularly exploring how music intersects with sensory memory, migration, and cultural resilience.
- Current projects include a major study on cultural resilience in post-conflict Mediterranean societies through music and food.
