Michael Williams

Michael Williams, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer at Wittenborg's School of Sport and Service Management since March 2008. He specializes in Events Management, focusing on the planning, design, and social/cultural impacts of outdoor music and cultural events. Prior to academia, he held senior management roles organizing international arts events, including festivals at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Harrogate International Festival, and Wiltshire Festival.

His academic contributions include 12 years of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, alongside course development and leadership in international partnerships. He bridges academia and industry through 10 years of practical event management experience.
