Michael Schilsky, MD, serves as Professor of Medicine at Yale School of Medicine and Medical Director of Adult Liver Transplantation at Yale New Haven Transplantation Center. He holds dual appointments in the Departments of Medicine (Digestive Diseases) and Surgery (Transplantation and Immunology). After earning his MD from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completing training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Schilsky has become a global authority on Wilson disease and metabolic liver disorders.

Current projects include gene therapy research and advanced imaging studies of copper metabolism.
