Professor Michael Roden is a full professor at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, serving as Director of the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetology at the University Hospital Düsseldorf. He is also a member of the board of the German Diabetes Center (DDZ, Leibniz Center for Diabetes Research) and the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD eV). His roles include leadership in diabetes research and policy, including chairing the Medical Committee of the German Council of Science and Humanities.
