Mia Feuer

Mia Feuer is an Associate Professor in Sculpture at California College of the Arts. Her research-driven practice examines intersections of colonization, resource extraction, and climate through sculptural forms that explore cultural signifiers from her working-class Jewish upbringing. She investigates eco-feminism, internalized biases, and motherhood in the Anthropocene.

She holds a BFA from the University of Manitoba (2004) and an MFA from Virginia Commonwealth University (2009). Feuer has conducted field research globally, including in Arctic mines, Tehran's jewel vaults, and abandoned Los Angeles research facilities.

Her work has been exhibited internationally at venues including Saatchi Gallery (London), Esker Foundation (Calgary), and Corcoran Museum (Washington DC).
