Mi-kyung Lee is a Professor of Violin at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, where she has taught since the winter semester of 2005/06. She previously held teaching positions at the Berlin University of the Arts (1991–1999) and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki (1999–2004). As a renowned violinist, she has performed as a soloist with prestigious orchestras such as the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra, and participated in major festivals including the Salzburg Festival and the Menuhin Festival.
